Michael Raasch has designed an elegant family of lights which respond in perfectly modular fashion to every one of the user’s lighting requirements. Structured in textured black lacquered steel. Cylindrical black cotton shade with white pmma diffuser which together create a pleasant lighting ambiance. the shade is magnetized and it is therefore possible for it to be positioned freely at the desired height, while its handle enables it to be angled as desired. Black textile cable with manual dimmer. Measures 53″ H at fullest, and 10″ diameter shade but can be adjusted to almost any height.

Custom made by a prominent lighting designer in Southern California for his own home, this beautiful large pendant is brushed aluminum with a rosewood stem. Industrial Metal Llama Sculpture by Robert Cumpston, 1930-2018. Metal Llama sculpture by Robert Cumpston of IL. Signed by the artist. Cumpston grew up, lived on, and worked the family farm in Colfax, IL which he eventually took over. But in his free time, he used the skills he developed repairing farm equipment to weld together spare equipment parts and scrap metal to create amazing animal sculptures. As he enjoyed making these artistic sculptures and was successfully selling them, in 1981 Cumpston rented the farm and gave up farming so he could focus on making art. Though Cumpston, a graduate of Colfax High School, never attended college or took art classes, he was extremely successful—selling much of his work locally, but also selling it to clients across the U.S. If you aren’t familiar with his work, visit Bloomington’s Miller Park Zoo, where some of his “animals” are on display.
