Wonderful teak grain and color, functional piece that offers lots of storage and adjustable shelving on the inside. Drawers slide with ease and doors are on gliding rails. The top and sides of this piece have been refinished, the remainder of the credenza has not and is original. In very good condition with only slight wear to the bottom of the legs as shown. California Impressionist Oil Painting by Frederick Milton Rash, (1919-1998). Original oil on canvas with original frame. This beautiful painting is an original by the Laguna Beach artist and was acquired from the original owners collection. Signed lower left and in good vintage condition. The impressionist oil depicts a warm hillside in California, where the artist lived for the majority of his lifetime with a studio in Laguna Beach. Measures 31″ W x 25″ H x 1″ D Frederick Milton Rash was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 30, 1919. After returning from WWII, Rash went to work for Howard Hughes working on art renderings for the “Spruce Goose” and other projects. He then established a studio-home in Laguna Beach and did restoration for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He won awards while a member of the California Art Club and was cover artist for Orange County Executive magazine for many years. Rash retired to Florida and died in Lake Mary on October 29, 1998. Working in oil and watercolor, he painted landscapes, still lives, seascapes, and portraits.

California Studio Ceramic Glazed Vessel by Bruce Tomkinson 1934-2022, ca. 1970. Beautiful representation of his work, this glazed vessel with hand carved design is substantial, measuring 19″ Tall and 8″ Diameter at the top. Perfect vintage condition, this is a great piece for your collection. His works are becoming harder to find. Bruce spent his years after college pursuing his passion of crafting and teaching ceramics, eventually working as a professor for Santa Monica City College, from 1969 up until 2012. Known for his rustic style influenced by his world travels, he would become particularly inspired while on sabbatical by the torii gates of Japan, representing a transition from the mundane to the sacred. He incorporated this sentiment, using classical or utilitarian forms, juxtaposed by freeform sculptural and animalia elements. Moving to Ojai in the 1990s, he was a longtime member of the Ojai Studio Artists and the Ventura County Potters’ Guild. An ardent supporter of the arts, Bruce often donated his work to local charity auctions and continued to teach as professor emeritus well into his seventies. Measures 19″ H x 8″ Diameter
George Mulhauser for Plycraft Mr. Chair & Ottoman, ca. 1970. All original, this chair has not been restored and is in good original vintage condition. The vinyl is free of tears or cracking and the base is solid. Bentwood frame does show some wear on edges, however it still very much usable with great patina to the wood. Ottoman swivels 360 degrees as well as chair. Great original chair for your collection.
