Finn Andersen for Selig Denmark sculpted barrel back lounge chairs, circa 1960. Sculpted walnut frames with newly upholstered imported brushed poly felt in a beautiful neutral oatmeal color. Walnut frames have been professionally restored. Original orbit casters on front legs, designed for simple movement. Often attributed to I.B. Kofod-Larsen, however documentation shows these are actually designed by Finn Andersen for Selig. Exquisite finger joint detail on the back frames. Emblems on underside. Extremely comfortable, wider than most Danish lounge chairs. Sculpted walnut frames are timeless and classic.

Outdoor lounge chair and ottoman by Tadao Inouye for Brown Jordan, circa 1970. Rare lounge chair version which is wider and lower than the standard chair. Matching ottoman included. Both are in very good vintage condition, the strapping is clean and free of cracks. Frame is navy blue with floor protectors in good condition. Some light scrapes on paint, otherwise very good.

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona chair and stool (1929), originally created to furnish his German Pavilion at the International Exhibition in Barcelona, have come to epitomize modern design. Mies van der Rohe designed the chair to serve as seating for the King and Queen of Spain, while the stool was intended to accommodate their attendants.
Jere Studios Bronze Acrobat sculpture, circa 1968. A metal jump rope figure with bronze finish by Curtis Jere, circa 1968. Reminiscent of Jack Boyd’s figurative bronzes. It measures 22″ in height by 10″ at its widest and sits on a 5.5″ square painted wood base. Signed C. Jeré, 1968.
