Original Finland Travel Poster by JORMA SUHONEN (1911-1987), 1952 Fully expecting to host the Olympic Games in 1940, the Finnish Olympic advertising machine was in full gear. However, this image, depicting Helsinki’s Parliament House and exhibiting the Olympic rings, was not selected as an official Olympic poster, therefore in scarce supply. It was produced by the Finnish Railways and is accomplished in Suhonen’s inimitable airbrush style. This is an original silkscreen poster from collector of one of the world’s largest olympic memorbelia collectors who recently passed in Huntington Beach, CA.
