Original Rene Brancusi marble and brass wire base end or occasional table. Travertine stamped on underside produced in Italy. In the 1950s Rene Brancusi showrooms in Los Angeles, Miami and New York specialized in imported marble pieces and customized marble-topped tables. The angled wire frame base here is a unique Brancusi design that was available as a foundation for those now scarce customized pieces. This sturdy low table is topped with polished travertine marble. Measures: 18″ diameter x 15.5″ H.
Poul Cadovius Royal System Wall Unit in Teak, ca. 1965. Unit is in very good original condition with original wall mounts that have been painted black for a nice contrast. Teak basketweave box can hold media, papers or glassware. Two of the lower shelves are 15″ Deep, enough for a desk. Comes with all shelves as shown and hardware for shelving. Mads Caprani floor lamp, circa 1971 by Danish manufacturer Mads Caprani AS. This vintage lamp features sculptural bent plywood stand with en elegant curve, a cast iron crescent shaped base, and original pleated linen shade. Original switch and wiring in very good working condition. Cast iron, crescent base is stamped with the Caprani name. A beautiful and desirable lamp that works with Mid-Century Modern, traditional and boho decor. Original shade has some fading and a few pinhole spots, but overall in very good condition for a vintage piece of this age. Extremely hard to find an original shade in this condition. Measures: 23″ diameter x 60″ high.
