‘Jean’ folding table or desk by Eileen Gray. Originally designed in 1929, this is a new production model by Classicon. Jean, named after Eileen Gray‘s intimate friend of many years, the architect Jean Badovici, stood in various models in their summer villa E 1027. “Every room has at its disposal one of these tables”, wrote Eileen Gray, “that at the same time can serve as a desk. For entertaining one moves all the pieces together, unfolds them and what follows is a small dining table, light yet absolutely stable. Frame chrome-plated tubular steel. Tabletop foldable, laminated with white HPL, solid beech edging. Height-adjustable metal gliders.

First Generation Eames Evans Birch plywood LCW, ca. 1949. Beautiful example of a rare and collectable first generation Charles Eames for Evans Birch Plywood LCW (lounge chair wood). This first generation is in very good original condition, with original shock mounts and the original 5-2-5 screw pattern that shows the authenticity of this piece. The paper Evans label is missing, however you can clearly see the outline of the original label shape as well as the stamped E9 under the seat. W&J Sloane Mid-Century Modern Sofa with Jack Lenor Larsen Velvet, ca. 1970. Gorgeous clean lines and original Jack Lenor Larsen chartreuse checkerboard velvet. Excellent original condition, professionally cleaned. Sofa has three rolling casters on the front legs and wood dowel legs on back and can be easily moved around. The legs allow the sofa to be stable without slipping when in use. Excellent original condition, this sofa was a custom made piece for a prominent Orange County couple. Inner cushions are extremely comfortable and still retain their shape and comfort. Measures 94″ W x 33″ D x 18″ seat height x 30″ back height.

Wood has been professionally restored and doors are original with very slight wear. Early, taped foot design on iron base. Does have some drill holes in back for electronics as shown, done by original owner. Back is not finished. Measures 60″ W x 18″ D x 25″ H.
