Teak and steel coffee table by Mikael Laursen for Illum Wikkelso, circa 1960. Solid staved teak table designed by Illum Wikkelsø for A. Mikael Laursen. Poul Kjaerholm design influence with wide flat bar brushed stainless steel legs that are set off centre at opposing right edges, rising up and outward, cupping the table edge. Can be used as a coffee, cocktail or side table. Top has been professionally restored and in showroom condition. Retains foil A. Mikael Laursen Aarhus label, maker of furniture designs since 1928 for the likes of Hans Wegner, Nana & Jorgen Ditzel and William Watting.
